Something for Creatives

To my fellow creatives,

no matter what you create it is yours and nobody else’s. It came from you, your thoughts and your feelings. You’re in competition with no one but yourself.

Read up on your craft. Get involved in conversations most people avoid conversing about, share your unpopular opinion bc you never know who may see it like you. Have an open mind and heart while you’re in these type of convos as well.

Do your craft every day if possible. Whether its a studio session, writing your next post, putting your next event together etc. it IS one step closer to doing what you want to do for the rest of your life.

Doubt and anxiety is like the devil. He’s an itty bitty bitch, who tries to persuade you that you are incapable when in reality you’re beyond capable of achieving your goals. Do not be fooled by others people’s appearance of success on social media.

Remember if you’re not creating for you, to speak for something, or to bring happiness then what is it that you’re doing?
